Chad was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, but grew up in Las Vegas and San Diego. He was raised in a family that sang karaoke religiously, which is where his passion for singing blossomed. He is a singer/songwriter who gained fame on Vine for posting covers that also incorporated comedy. His first viral Vine, “My Reflection is Cooler Than Me,” more commonly known as the Gas Pedal Mirror Vine, won Vine of the Year at the 2014 Shorty Awards. Before Vine shut down, he had more than 850,000 followers. On the app musical.ly he became popular, with over 150,000 fans. Before his fame on Vine, he was a student at San Diego State University and studied Communications. As a Liquid Blue^® vocalist, he is fun to watch and always a big hit with crowds.
